Modal Consult delivers copies of the Sustainability Guide to sector representatives

Consulting professionals contributed to the publication.


Between meetings and other commitments today, Modal Consult, represented by its partner, Fernando Fialho, delivered the Port Sustainability Guide to sector representatives.


The publication, which had the contribution of Modal experts, helps the understanding and practice of sustainability in the port sector.


All material was constructed from a survey of dedicated literature, analysis of good practices in environmental, social and governance actions, data collection from public information, technical visits to port organizations, interviews and national and international benchmarking.

Dr. Felipe Gama and Dr. Felipe Lima, from the National Secretariat of Ports and Waterway Transport.

The Guide, in fact, is a bold proposal on what a journey towards port sustainability is, and should be, comprising actions for its internal (management body and employees) and external audiences, suppliers, customers, regulatory entities , shareholders, in order to guide and seek a harmonious and sustainable relationship between ports and their cities.
